Alina Usmani is an accomplished aerospace engineer and unmanned aerial systems (UAS) professional with deep expertise in drone technology, defense applications, and strategic business development. With a career spanning leading roles in the UAV sector, she has been instrumental in advancing drone ecosystem innovations, regulatory compliance, and market growth. While working in the drone industry for 7 years she worked and gained experience in driving business, strategic partnerships and overseeing critical defense and drone technology projects. Alina's extensive experience includes leadership roles where she managed UAV research and development, drone certifications, and remote pilot training. She has also contributed to cutting-edge projects such as large-scale UAV swarm technology for HADR (Humanitarian Aid and Disaster Relief) operations, anti-drone systems, and defense-grade UAV solutions. Beyond aerospace, Alina is a passionate animal activist, serving as a Humane Officer at the Society for Animal Safety India, handling numerous animal cruelty cases. And she is also an Animal Psychic (Communicator) for communicating via telepathy. Recognized for her contributions to aerospace and drone technology, she has received several awards, including the Parashakti Puraskar by SNDT University (2025) and the WICA Diversity Champions Award (2022) by Women's Web, Award of appreciation by aeronautical society of India, Meher Baba prize by Indian air force (2019) and many more. Her work has been featured in major publications such as Raksha Anirveda, Economic Times, India Today, Rotor India and Geopolitics.
